What we collect
There is no account here: no sign-up, no email address and no profile, so we never ask you for anything that identifies you.
Like any website, our hosting records ordinary technical request logs (IP address, timestamp, the URL requested and your browser’s user-agent string) for security and diagnostics. We do not use them to build a profile of you. Advertising and analytics are covered in their own sections below.
Your gameplay stays on your device
Fiveaside is played entirely in your browser. The match simulation — your movement, passes, shots, goals and the final scoreline — runs locally on your device and is never sent to us. The game makes no gameplay requests to any server; there is no account, no login and no player profile.
The only thing the game stores is your most recent result (the scoreline and its one-line descriptor), kept in your browser’s localStorage so the title screen can show your last match. It stays on your device, is never transmitted to us, and is erased whenever you clear your browser’s site data. When you use the “Share” or “Download” button, the match card is generated on your device and handed to your operating system’s own share or download feature — we never receive it. The advertising and analytics described below are the only data that leaves your browser.
Advertising and cookies
We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners use cookies (including the DoubleClick DART cookie) to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalised advertising via Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies at aboutads.info/choices. Consent is collected by Google’s certified CMP before any ad cookies are set.
